Je'Von began CrossFit in 2013, and quickly proved that her natural athleticism coupled with her hard work would put her near the top of any competition leaderboard, finishing 61st in the Southern California Region in 2015. Je'Von has an athletic background as a Level 9 gymnast and has played numerous sports (volleyball, soccer, basketball, track) throughout her high school and college careers.  She has competed in various CrossFit Competitions and hopes to make a Regional’s team in 2016.

Brittany Marsh

Brittany’s appearance maybe unassuming, but she is a fierce athlete, and a brilliant coach, who is able to improve any athlete in a matter of seconds.  Brittany was introduced to CrossFit in 2011 through the encouragement of friends in hopes of making training for surfing and triathalons more efficient and fun.  She was a high school soccer, track and swimming athlete as well as a Division 1 swim athlete at UC Irvine.  Brittany has swam and coached for a number of elite swim clubs across the country as well as coached surfing in both Australia and in the U.S.

Brittany is our marketing extraordinaire; facilitating our marketing plans, social media presence as well as member and community relationship development.  Her infectious smile and laugh will make you feel welcome the moment you meet her.  Currently working for Juggernaut Training Systems, Brittany is an established athlete as well as a coach, especially in the field of weightlifting.

There is a je ne sais quoi about Brittany and her zest for life and adventure.  She loves how people naturally rally together in CrossFit and want you to succeed just as much as, and sometimes even more than, you do.  When she is not working or working out, she is jumping of cliffs, hiking off trails, or planning a motorcycle adventure!

Lauren is the paradox; equal parts finance and art, she brings her collection of experience in a variety of arenas to contribute to the direction of the business and the vision of Axis CrossFit. Lauren has been coaching CrossFit since 2013 and loves coaching any athlete, young and old, big or small, no matter their ability and fitness level. She loves caring for people through CrossFit and helping them achieve their individual fitness goals.

Lauren grew up playing a lot of different sports, but focussed on volleyball, soccer, and track in high school. She went on to run track in college, specializing in the 400m, 800m and the relays as well as running a some 5Ks, 10Ks, and a half marathon. At UC Santa Barbara Lauren was on the Sailing Team as well as an intermural ultimate Frisbee team.
