How to stay in shape during holiday travels

The holiday season presents so many obstacles, from sweet treats to travel plans.  But that doesn’t mean that all of your hard work in the gym needs to go out the window.  Working out, while traveling can be so difficult whether it is on vacation or a work trip.  Often times, where you might be staying may have no gym or gym equipment.  So we are here to help!  We have put together 6 great body weight workouts that you can do anywhere!

WORKOUT #1:

10 Rounds:

10 Push Ups

10 Air Squats

10 Sit Ups

 

WORKOUT #2:

7 Rounds:

7 Push Ups

14 Jumping Squats

Workout #3:

“Annie” (*if you brought your jump rope)

50-40-30-20-10

Double Unders

Sit Ups

 

Workout #4:

6 Rounds:

30 Russian Twists (feet off the ground, clasped knuckles hit ground on either side, or use any object if you want to move weight)

20 Mountain Climbers

10 Push Ups

Workout #5:

10 - 15 min. AMRAP

5 Push Ups

10 Jumping Lunges

20 Russian Twists

 

 

Workout #6:

7 Rounds:

10 Burpees

15 Sit Ups

10 Air Squats

10 - 15 Minute Workouts

All of these workouts should range from about 10-15 minutes.  Each vacation workout is designed to target your arms, legs, and core in order to maintain overall body strength and tone.  These workouts are great for when you are limited on time, space and equipment.  Also, if one is not enough, get after 2 workouts to really feel the burn.
